On November 24, YG Entertainment released a statement announcing that the youngest member of BLACKPINK, Lisa, tested positive for COVID-19.

The agency stated, “BLACKPINK’s Lisa was diagnosed with COVID-19 this afternoon. The other three BLACKPINK members have not been classified as close contacts, but they immediately received a PCR test after hearing Lisa’s positive COVID-19 result, and they are currently waiting for the results.”

“We first share this information quickly and accurately with representatives and staff, and we take strong precautions even beyond the guidelines of health authorities. We will continue to support the health of our artists and staff members. If there is any change in the future, we will let you know quickly.”

Meanwhile, Lisa released her first solo album “LALISA” in October, and “MONEY” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The music video also received attention, surpassing 300 million views on YouTube.
