BLACKPINK is officially appointed as public relations ambassadors for The United Nations Conference For Climate Change.
On February 25, BLACKPINK received a letter of appreciation from Prime Minister Johnson at a ceremony to appoint a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. General Assembly on Climate Change.
“Your ‘Climate Action In Your Area #COP26’ video has been a huge success on social media,” said Prime Minister Boris Johnson. “It is very welcome that you have voiced such an important issue at this time.”
In December last year, BLACKPINK produced and released a video with the British Embassy in Korea to publicize the seriousness of climate change and introduce the UN Climate Change Conference.
The video was also introduced at the 2020 Climate Ambition Summit, co-hosted by the United Kingdom, the United Nations, and France.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
