BTS’ J-HOPE Donated 100 Million Won To Help Vulnerable Children, Fans Decided To Do The Same

BTS’ J-HOPE has donated 100 Million won to help vulnerable children in need, and many fans have decided to do the same.

On August 18, the Green Umbrella Children Foundation said, “BTS J-Hope donated 100 million won. The donation will be delivered as an emergency livelihood support fund to help vulnerable children suffering from COVID-19 and the long rainy season.”

 J-Hope has also donated 150 million won to foster talent and support children, 100 million to low-income students attending his alma mater in February 2019, and 100 million won to support infants in December of the same year. He donated a total of 450 Million won so far through the Green Umbrella Children Foundation.

Shortly after the news was made public, dozens of donation photos were posted on Twitter along with the message, “I will join the donation along with J-Hope.” Fans donated through various organizations in Korea, including the Korea Disaster Relief Association and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
