MAMAMOO‘s fans are trending the hashtag #RespectMAMAMOO.
MAMAMOO is a hard-working group that debuted six years ago, in 2014. Hwasa, Solar, Wheein, and Moonbyul are talented girls who create amazing music. Besides, they are always kind and sincerely love their fans. They have been receiving hateful comments and death threats for a while now. Fans are using Twitter to express their sadness about this situation. All they ask for is to respect MAMAMOO. Nothing else.

If you’re wondering why we’re trending this hashtag it is because the hate our girls have been getting has been taken to extreme levels. They have literally been getting de4th threats, and r4pe jokes for so long it’s been years this is not okay. Please help us. #RespectMAMAMOO pic.twitter.com/P9adhrjaqp— angelic⁷ 🌙 (@byuIjin) July 11, 2020
We are not asking anyone to listen to Mamamoo's music, watch their MVs and performances or to stream their songs on any platform. We are tired of the daily hate. All we ask is for people to respect them. It isn't that hard#RespectMAMAMOO pic.twitter.com/cO24CqXiFf— ⁴Paulina_24⁷ #RespectMAMAMOO 🐋🐰🐹🐶🦁 (@OneRadishARMY) July 11, 2020
If you guys didn't like them just ignore them, don't give a bad comment or hate about them they are humans too they have eyes to see those malicious comments about them they have ears to hear your compliments and they have feelings too. #RespectMAMAMOO pic.twitter.com/xyr88FhrKF— _seriousblack (@unnieyaah_) July 11, 2020
What hurts me most is idols see the hate they get and it affects them. Hwasa wrote the storyboard for her María MV and this is one of the scenes, she’s literally surrounded by pencils in a threatening way and you all know what it symbolizes. They’re humans too #RespectMAMAMOO pic.twitter.com/5t4jedAqBc— ❖ Nami ᴹᵃʳᶦᵃ (@vvhatgirl) July 11, 2020
