IU Donates 100 Million Won To Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation In Honor Of Children’s Day

On May 4, IU donates 100 million won to Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation in honor of Children’s Day.

According to Ex-Sports News,  IU donated 100 million won through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a children’s welfare agency. The donation will be spent to cover the tuition fees of for children from low-income families and grandparents’ families. Since 2015, she has donated 800 million won to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation and more than 1.5 billion won since her debut.

In March, she also donated a total of 280 million won through various donation destinations, to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
